Biography and career

Akbar Kurtha is a British actor and producer. He made his theatrical debut in 1993. That same year, Kurtha also appeared on the film Bhaji on the Beach. He also appeared in the 2005 film Syriana (with Jayne Atkinson and Alexander Siddig).

Aside of films, Kurtha had recurring roles on the TV drama Doctors and in the Second Sight telefilms with Clive Owen. He also appeared in the TV shows Liar and House of Sadaam.
