Ian Paul Cassidy was born in England. He began his career with small, uncredited roles on films like Zombie Brigade, Strike of the Panther, and In The Line of Fire (with Tobin Bell and Carl Ciarfalio). After that, he has appeared in more prominent roles on films like Highlander: Endgame and Dream State.
Cassidy has also appeared on several TV shows. His first recurring role was as Paddy, on the show EZ Streets from 1996 to 1997. After that, he has appeared in shows like V.I.P. and The Pretender (with Jon Gries). In 2001 he had a recurring role on The Beast (with Wendy Crewson and Hrach Titizian).
