Kim takes Megan to the hospital, but the staff accuses her of abuse. Jack locates the leader of the American terrorist cell. He learns that the woman who gave them inside information on CTU is Nina Myers.
The tables are turned as Jack exploits Saunders' weakness to disclose the location of the other vials. President Palmer meets with Sherry to work something out, but she becomes suspicious of his offer and leaves. Tony faces a harsh sentence as a result of saving Michelle.
Driscoll agrees to work with Jack as he continues to follow the terrorist with the help of the local police. Secretary Heller and Audrey decide to take their fate into their own hands. Meanwhile, the Araz family encounters another problem in their cover-up.
Jack returns to CTU and has an emotional reunion with Audrey, while Curtis tracks the Russians and the stolen military-grade Sentox nerve gas. Cummings sends in an assassin to silence Jack. Chloe discovers that Spenser has an agenda at CTU. Walt convinces Logan to send Martha to be institutionalized when she tells them of the attacks against her.
Graem reveals a connection between his company and Darren McCarthy, who brokered the nukes to Fayed. Graem's motives are made clearer when he and Jack find their father. Security measures put in place by Tom Lennox put pressure on the Arab members of CTU. Karen Hayes is blackmailed into resigning.
Tony regains his cover and brings Jack into Emerson's fold as well, just in time for their next assignment: the kidnapping of Sangalan Prime Minister Ule Matobo. Henry Taylor learns from a distraught Samantha Roth that his son was murdered to cover up a conspiracy linking Taylor's administration to the Dubaku threat.
