Our story begins in the Arizona desert, where Jack Bauer is attempting to take a well-deserved vacation. It's high noon on a Friday, and Jack's cruising down Highway 85. When was the last time he drove a car that wasn’t government property? Maybe a few days without a thought of CTU will do him good....
Jack’s LG phone rings. The caller ID flashes CTU SECURE.
You are Jack Bauer, and today you will uncover a conspiracy that will result in the deaths of thousands of people. You're the only one who can stop it.
Get behind the wheel.
Jack is on vacation when a call comes in from Agent Samuels at CTU Los Angeles. Samuels orders Jack to track a late-model sedan that is heading through the Arizona desert towards the Mexican border. After a successful pursuit, Jack finds a rental slip in the pocket of rogue agent Marcus Johnson.
The rental slip belongs to a van laden with explosives that is heading towards the San Onofre nuclear power plant. While dodging hostile vehicles, Jack heads off the van before it can reach the plant.
The terrorist cell has rented a truck, from which they are planning to detonate a dirty bomb hidden in Las Vegas. Jack runs the truck off the road before it can get within detonation range. The President calls to congratulate him on a job well done.
