| Birthplace: | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania |
| Role: | 1. Abu Fayed 2. Alam (deleted) |
Adoni Maropis played Abu Fayed during Season 6 of 24. His stunt double for the role was Jon Braver.
Maropis also played Alam in deleted scenes for Season 4. Alam was meant to be the father of Safa & Naji, who assisted Jack in fighting off mercenaries from McLennen-Forster. The scenes with Alam were removed, and in the final episode Safa & Naji were themselves the sporting goods store owners, and their father had been deceased. The deleted scenes are on Disc 7 of the season 4 DVD box set, where Alam is seen suffering from a gunshot wound.
Born just outside of Pittsburgh in Burgettstown, PA, to Petro and Despina Maropis, Maropis has two brothers, Sam and Chris. He attended West Virginia University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, and studied acting at Park Point College in Pittsburgh.
He also does much voice-over work in video games, in addition to on-screen appearances: He played Hassan in the FMV cut scenes of "Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun", alongside Francesco Quinn. Some of his earlier gigs included late night erotic thrillers, low grade indie Action films and comedies as well before getting more mainstream TV guest-spots.
