Africa is a continent east of South America and south of Europe. Countries located in Africa include Libya and Sangala. Taj Ali Kahlil and Omar Bayat were accused of shooting down planes over North Africa. René Bonnière was a terrorist out of North Africa.

During the events of Redemption, in the African nation of Sangala, rebel general Benjamin Juma staged a military coup using terror squads of young, brainwashed boys and weapons secretly purchased from Jonas Hodges. The American embassy in Sangala was evacuated by Noah Daniels, his last major act as President of the United States.

During Day 7, President Allison Taylor has authorized an invasion on African nation of Sangala, which was met with little resistance.
