Alam was a character deleted from the scenes of Season 4.

Throughout several deleted scenes, Alam was found by Jack Bauer in the back of the store owned by Naji and Safa. He was their father who had been wounded by a bullet that had been shot into their store by rioters, trying to get in and steal guns. Jack had to perform emergency procedures on him to keep him alive. He even informed Alam about the nature of the McLennan-Forster threat.

Soon after, once the location had been secured by a CTU team and the McLennan-Forster commandos had been neutralized, CTU medic Brown arrived gave additional treatment to Alam. Alam chose to stay and defend his store before going to a hospital directly.
