Alex Skuby (born December 27, 1972; age 44) played officer Dennis McGrath during Season 4 of 24.

Biography and career Edit

Alex Skuby was born in Neptune, New Jersey. He attended Wall High School in Wall, New Jersey, and then Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, for a year. He also attended the DePaul University Theater School in Chicago, for two years. After leaving DePaul, he stayed in Chicago for 5 years where he was cast in various plays with several different theater companies. In 1998, Alex moved to Los Angeles, California.

Through his career, Skuby has appeared in shows like ER (with Eriq La Salle), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (with Ron Rogge), The Division (with Al Sapienza), CSI: Miami (with Megalyn Echikunwoke), Castle (with Stana Katic and DB Woodside), The Mentalist (with Brittany Ishibashi), and Southland (with Michael Cudlitz, C. Thomas Howell, and Regina King). He also had a recurring role on The King of Queens, from 2000 to 2003.

Aside of TV, Skuby has also appeared in films like Payback (with Gregg Henry and William Devane), Ready to Rumble (with Tim Sitarz), Finding Preet, Pandemic (with Bob Gunton and Michael Massee), and Spades.
