Altieri was one of the CTU field agents at the Ontario Airport during Day 5.

When Jack Bauer informed Curtis Manning that one of the hostages was actually a sleeper terrorist, Curtis contacted agents Altieri and Hutchinson via radio to coordinate an effort to find him (at approximately 10:56am). Jack was not permitted to assist since Lynn McGill ordered him to be held for questioning.
