Amanda was a waitress at a cafe that was visited by Alexis and Andre Drazen during Day 1.

As Alexis finished a phone call with Elizabeth Nash at the cafe, he was joined by Andre. While the brothers spoke, the laughter of Amanda got the attention of Andre. When he turned and looked at Amanda, he was struck by the similarities between the waitress and their sister, Martina. Alexis simply reminded Andre that Martina was dead. Shortly afterward, at 2:31, Alexis summoned her to their table.

• The actress Nina Landey seems to be wearing the exact same earrings she later wore in her Season 2 role as Eve.
• In a special edition DVD deleted scene from the following episode, Day 1 3:00pm-4:00pm, Andre was waiting alone at the cafe for Alexis to call. He flirted with Amanda after she asked if he'd be ordering anything else, and told her that she looked like his sister Martina, who died in an "accident" with his mother. Andre left Amanda a large tip.
