Andrei was a Dawn Brigade separatist, and Ivan Erwich's right-hand man during Day 5.

Andrei was first seen in the pit where the Sentox nerve gas was hidden at the Ontario Airport. He drove with Erwich, Komar, a fourth terrorist, and the gas canisters to a civilian workshop, where Erwich coerced Cal to precisely cut open the containers. When fellow terrorists Komar and Polakov took Jack Bauer (disguised as the deceased Jacob Rossler) to the Sunrise Hills Shopping Mall to test the gas on civilians, Jack refused to cooperate. It was Andrei who discovered an alternate method to disperse the gas, and informed Polakov of his findings over the phone.

Andrei was sent off to use his technique on all the other canisters by Vladimir Bierko shortly after Bierko stabbed Erwich, and was not seen again.
