Angelo Marcella was a friend and associate of Hector and Ramon Salazar. He was wanted by the British, the Portuguese, and "even the French" for five separate thefts of advanced weapons technology.

Marcella was to deliver a package to Julio, Bucho, Jack Bauer, and Enrique Hinojosa at the Hotel Long Beach. When the hotel was taken over by Imran Geshayev, Ramon told Marcella that Jack was a professional and could get him and the package out safely. After Enrique shot Bucho to stop him from killing Jack, Jack and Enrique's real status was revealed, and Jack shot Marcella.
