Anya Suvarov was the wife of Russian President Yuri Suvarov. She was well acquainted with President Charles Logan and First Lady Martha Logan.

Anya Suvarov arrived in Los Angeles with her husband Yuri during Day 5. Her husband was planning on signing an Anti-terrorism treaty with President Charles Logan, creating an alliance between the US and Russia. After arriving, Anya suggested to Martha for them to talk, giving their powerful husbands a chance to discuss matters.
Despite a hostage crisis attempting to stop Logan from signing the treaty, President Logan went through with it and CTU Los Angeles was able to perform a rescue operation. After signing the treaty, Yuri and Anya decided to leave for the airport. After entering the limousine, they were surprised when Martha decided to come along.
During the ride, Anya tried to make small talk and Yuri noticed Martha acting strangely. She mentioned being in Los Angeles once before, and seeing beautiful orange groves, and was disappointed they no longer existed. Towards the end of the motorcade route, Aaron Pierce had the motorcade turn around, claiming a Code 6 was in action. However, Russian separatists managed to attack the motorcade and take out nearly all of the Secret Service agents. Luckily Agent Pierce was able to take out the remaining terrorists, before anyone else was harmed.
Yuri and Anya arrived back at the presidential retreat. They left for Moscow sometime later that day.

During the evening of Day 6, CTU Los Angeles attempted to contact First Lady Suvarov, but she was giving a speech in Omsk. After she finished her speech, Anya took the call and was patched over to Martha Logan. Martha told Anya that they needed to catch up, but she had to lay out the details as quickly as possible. When Martha told Anya that Consul Anatoly Markov was working with Dmitri Gredenko, who was involved in the nuclear explosion in Valencia earlier in the day, Anya agreed to send a message to her husband Yuri.
Anya brought her information to Yuri and he called the Russian consulate. He demanded for Markov to surrender to the Americans and safely deliver Jack Bauer to CTU. When Markov refused to turn himself in, Suvarov authorized the raiding of the Russian consulate.
