Assaf Cohen played Yassir during Season 4 of 24. Yassir was a terrorist working for Habib Marwan but was later killed when Jack Bauer and Curtis Manning raided the warehouse that they were hiding in.
He later went on to play Navid during Season 8, a terrorist working with Samir Mehran who helped with Omar Hassan's execution.

Biography

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Assaf Cohen grew up in Palo Alto, lived for a number of years in the Middle East, and attended UC Berkeley where he earned a Bachelors degree in Integrative Biology. Later, Cohen continued his classical training by earning a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. He has appeared in various short films and produced a short film as well. Cohen lives in Los Angeles and is an advanced Tae Kwon Do martial artist. He speaks Arabic, Hebrew and Spanish.
