Blaye

General Blaye was a military officer in service during Day 2.

In a meeting with President David Palmer at CTU District Headquarters in Los Angeles, General Blaye briefed Palmer about the movements of the bombers flying to the Middle East. When asked, he assured the President that they could be recalled at any time.

Blaye then suggested that President Palmer take a more definitive stance to appease the Joint Chiefs, who were uncomfortable with Palmer's apparent hesitation to commit completely to the war. Palmer simply replied that it was not his job to make the Joint Chiefs comfortable, and excused Blaye.
