Joseph Willie "Buddy" Sosthand (born March 29, 1971; age 53) is a stunt performer and actor who played one of Benjamin Juma's soldiers during Season 7 of 24. His character infiltrated the White House in "Day 7: 7:00pm-8:00pm", shepherding hostages into a group, before being shot during a firefight with Secret Service agents.
Biography and career[]
Joseph Willie "Buddy" Sosthand II was born in Great Falls, Montana. He began working on films during the late 90's as an actor, leadman, and production assistant. However, during the early 2000's, Sosthand transitioned into stunt acting.
Sosthand has doubled for the likes of A-listers such as Samuel L. Jackson and was recently featured in action movie such as The Expendables (with Henry Kingi, Jr., Kevin Beard, Jalil Jay Lynch, Edward Fernandez and Henry Kingi, Sr.), Thor and The Girl From the Naked Eye (with Ron Yuan). He has also done numerous vehicular stunts for various award-winning car commercials.
