Carrie Bendis was an intelligence analyst with CTU Los Angeles during the events of Day 5.

Day 5[]

Bendis got in a verbal spat with Lynn McGill shortly after McGill took control of CTU. McGill fired Carrie, which became one of the events leading Curtis Manning to exercise Section 112 to remove McGill from power.

After that, she was reinstated and continued to work for CTU. A couple of hours later, while doing a routine systems check, she discovered a minor breach in the ventilation systems and reported it to Edgar Stiles. Edgar told her that if she wanted someone to check it out, she should take care of it herself. When she entered the room where the breech was and noticed a canister of nerve gas, she tried to warn someone on her cell phone, but was quickly murdered by Ostroff, who was planting the Sentox nerve gas in CTU for Vladimir Bierko. He stabbed her in the back.

When Carrie failed to return, Edgar went looking for her. By the time Edgar returned to the main room, the gas was released and he was lethally exposed.
