Chad Johnson (born January 9, 1978; age 46) is an American football player who portrayed Agent Ocho during Day 3 of The Rookie. He was also the spokesperson for Degree Men, the sponsor of The Rookie. This was Johnson's acting debut.

Biography and career

Chad Johnson was born in Miami, Florida. He graduated from Miami Beach Senior High School in 1997, and then attended Langston University and Santa Monica College in California. In 2000, he transferred to Oregon State University, where he played football for the Oregon State Beavers. He led his team to an 11–1 season and a victory over Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl that year.

After graduating, Johnson played professional football in the NFL from 2001 to 2011. Ten of those years were spent with the Cincinnati Bengals. In 2006, he officially changed his name to Chad Ocho Cinco (which is Spanish for #85). In 2012, he changed his name back to Chad Johnson. He currently plays for the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League.

Aside of his career as an athlete, Johnson has ventured into acting. His performance in The Rookie as Agent Ocho was his acting debut. After that, he has appeared in shows like The Game, Cubed, and Blue Mountain State. In these three instances, Johnson either played himself or a fictionalized version of himself.
