Chet came to work at five o'clock to start his shift, moments before the receptionist berated him for not clocking in early like she wanted. The two argued briefly about the fallout from the conspiracy involving the Russians and President Taylor, but Chet treated the news apathetically before he started working. Chet was about to take inventory when he noticed that someone had broken into one of the rooms. Chet found himself face to face with Jack Bauer, and Bauer proceeded to coerce Chet into patching up all of his injuries. After Chet finished, Bauer put Chet in a sleeper hold and knocked him out, shortly before stealing some medicine.
