Chip Manning was a film star who was present at the Silver Screen Awards during the Trojan Horse mission.

Chip was known for producing many kung fu movies, portraying him as a hero and an excellent fighter.

Chip was at the Silver Screen Awards when the terrorists took the whole procession hostage. His agent told him to fight the men, but he revealed that he was not as good at fighting as had been portrayed in the movies.

• It is unknown what Chip's connection is to Curtis Manning. Whilst in one of Marc Cerasini's novels Curtis was refered to as Chip, it is highly unlikely it is the same man, as there is no evidence that Curtis was a film star before becoming a CTU agent.
