Chris Sorrell (born April 1972) was the creative director for 24: The Game.

Biography[]

Chris Sorrell is a video game programmer and content creator. He was born in the city of Derby, in England, UK. Sorrell has worked for companies like Vectordean, Spitting Image, Millennium Interactive, Radical Entertainment, and Hinterland Studio. From 1997 to 2006, he worked as Creative Director for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. During that time, he worked on 24: The Game, along with his wife Katie. Sorrell is the co-founder of SpoonSized Entertainment where he currently works.[1]

During his career, Sorrell has worked on such titles as MediEvil, Proototype, and the James Pond series.

Role on 24[]

Sorrell is credited as the creative director for 24: The Game. As such, he was involved in several facets of the game like design, engine extensions, and others. Sorrell also worked in the development of the story along with his wife Katie, Andy Tudor, Mark Green, and Duppy Demetrius. This included building the game mechanics, missions design, and technical framework for the game.

Sorrell hadn't watched the show until starting to work in the game. At that point, he bought the box sets for Seasons 1 and 2. After watching them, Sorrell loved it. He also proclaims himself as "a fan of Kiefer's work so that certainly helped."
