Cooper Taylor (born May 15, 1975) is an actor and stunt performer who played a compound sentry during Season 4 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Cooper Taylor was born in Ennis, Montana. He is the son of actor Buck Taylor and actress Judy Nugent. One of his brothers, Matt Taylor, is also a stunt co-ordinator and actor. Having been born in a family of actors, Taylor developed an interest in the business from an early age. When he was a teenager, he played a small role on the TV mini-series Return to Lonesome Dove.

Since 1998, Taylor has focused on a career as a stunt performer, double, and co-ordinator. He has worked on TV shows like Grimm, Eaten Alive, and Westworld, as well as films like Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, The Lone Ranger, and The Magnificent Seven remake. Taylor has also doubled for actors like Joel Edgerton and Eric Roberts.

Aside from his stunt work, Taylor competes at rodeos in team roping competitions.

Role on 24[]

Cooper is the brother of the Season 4 stunt co-ordinator Matt Taylor. Cooper played a compound sentry in "Day 4: 12:00pm-1:00pm". His character was shot by the marines in the lower area of the compound.
