Coral Snake

Coral Snake was a secretly funded NSA team out of Fort Benning and trained by Colonel Ron Samuels - who earlier tried to recruit Jack Bauer, with no success.

All of Coral Snake's members have a snake tattooed on their right arm.

Presumably ordered by Roger Stanton, Coral Snake fired a missile at a plane that was carrying Jack Bauer and Nina Myers back from Visalia, which later crash landed in the middle of nowhere. They killed the survivors that they found, but Jack and Nina were able to fight them off. After a CTU helicopter killed the remaining commandos, Jack spotted their distinctive tattoo on one of the bodies and reported it to David Palmer.

Later in the day, Coral Snake was intended to stop the nuclear weapon that was coming into Los Angeles, but their captain, Jonathan Wallace, turned on them by killing his fellow commandos, after he was paid off by Peter Kingsley.
