A cougar is a predatory wildcat of a species found in the Americas.
Day 2
A cougar threatened the life of Kim Bauer for a time between 6:00pm-7:00pm, while she was lost the Angeles Crest National Forest and trapped in a snare. It departed on its own, and Kim was later freed from the snare by outdoorsman Lonnie McRae.
Lonnie later gave her a revolver which he said would scare away any cougars she might meet on the way back to the highway.
