Craig Dyer is a helicopter pilot and stunt performer who appeared as an FBI helicopter gunner in Season 7 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Craig Dyer is the owner of Dogtown Aviation, LLC, which specializes in film and TV aviation operations and aerial production services. Dyer has been a helicopter pilot since 1986 and is a former U.S. Army Black Hawk Aviator. During Operation Desert Storm, Dyer was based in Cyprus in support of the US Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, where he successfully completed 20 special operations.

After leaving the military, Dyer has been flying in Southern California and the Western US, primarily supporting Los Angeles television stations and news. He has also provided his skills for multiple TV shows and films. Since then, Dyer has worked on films like Gone on Sixty Seconds, Tropic Thunder, and A Good Day to Die Hard. He has also worked on TV shows like The Unit, Jericho, and Karen Sisco.

Aside of his work on TV, Dyer also conducts emergency medical services (EMS), firefighting, law enforcement operations, corporate charters, and long-line utility work.

Role on 24[]

Dyer appeared in the final episode, portraying one of the gunners who landed with Renee Walker and Randall Archer's character while attempting to apprehended Alan Wilson.
