An audio recording was found in the apartment of Second Wave leader Syed Ali, which appeared to document a meeting with Ali and three high-ranking officials from three unnamed Middle-Eastern countries during a meeting in Cyprus. However, the recording was created by Alex Hewitt using a voice modulation system and used by Peter Kingsley and Max in order to provide evidence of Second Wave receiving backing from the three unnamed Middle-Eastern countries, proving that they were complicit in Second Wave's plot to detonate a nuclear weapon in Los Angeles thus prompting the United States to go to war.
