Danny was a character deleted from the scenes of Season 5.

Season 5 deleted scenes[]

As Jack Bauer goes to steal a helicopter and meet Chloe, Danny, a friend from his work at the oil drilling job, pulls over with another man in a pickup truck. Danny says that he, Jim, and some others will have room for Jack on their fishing trip, and extends a friendly invitation. Jack turns him down, distracted, and Danny notes that if Jack keeps rejecting his offers, he may stop asking one day. Jack responds and leaves for the chopper.

Executive producer Stephen Kronish notes that this scene was deleted because it was deemed irrelevant.
