Dave was a terrorist that worked with Eddie Grant and Joseph Wald during Day 2.

Dave was suspicious of Jack Bauer, who was working undercover as Jack Roush. He demanded that Eddie Grant take a closer look at him, and started a background check to see if Jack's prison records were real. Eddie reached for his weapon as Dave's search seemed to come up with nothing. When the records were inserted covertly by Paula Schaeffer, Eddie chastised Dave for almost making him shoot "a friend".

Jack criticized Dave's bombmaking ability to start a fight with him, and Dave ended up getting a broken ankle. Jack took his place during the bombing of CTU Los Angeles.
