Doves are an English alternative rock band originating from Cheshire. The band is composed of twin brothers Jez Williams (guitar, vocals) and Andy Williams (drums, vocals), and Jimi Goodwin (bass, vocals, guitars). Since 1998 the band have released four studio albums, two of which reached number one on the UK album charts. Doves went on hiatus in 2010, following the release of their first compilation album The Places Between: The Best of Doves.

Doves' song "Darker," a U.S.-exclusive bonus track from Doves' debut album Lost Souls (1998), is featured in "Day 1: 1:00am-2:00am." The song plays on Dan Mounts' car radio while Dan assaults Janet York and forces Kim Bauer to call her mother.
