Agent Drake was a CTU agent during Day 1.

When Nina Myers suspected an FBI agent was an imposter, Tony Almeida sent Drake to the clinic where Teri and Kim Bauer were being checked out. He dusted the phone that the imposter had used for prints, but it had been wiped clean by a professional.

Later in the day when the Class 3 detention center holding Victor Drazen was attacked by his son Andre, Agent Drake was sent as backup by George Mason. When warden Mark DeSalvo and the entire staff were found to be killed by the Serbian troops, Drake's team was told to follow them. They were called back later, after the Drazens escaped with Jack, and Drake had discovered laser mines hidden as booby-traps.
