Eddie Grant was an anti-government American terrorist who worked under Joseph Wald.

When Jack Bauer went undercover as Jack Roush, he met up with Eddie with whom he had done work for Wald in the past. Eddie expressed his belief that it was Jack who put Wald in prison, and surrounded Jack with a number of his thugs. One of them struck Jack on the head, but Jack attempted to prove his loyalty and told Eddie to look inside his bag. Grant sent Frank who opened the bag and dropped it in shock: the head of Marshall Goren was inside. Since Goren was supposed to testify against Wald, Eddie saw this as sufficient proof and was happy that Jack had returned.

Eddie included Jack in his crew after Jack broke the bombmaker Dave's ankle. Only later did he reveal that their target was CTU Los Angeles. Grant and Jack, along with two terrorists named Chris and Scott, arrived at CTU where they tampered with the phones. Grant killed a phone company worker, Danny, and coerced his partner Cam Strocker to assist in their infiltration of CTU. He deceived the security guard and entered the building with no difficulty.

The attack was mostly successful, and at last count, the casualties suffered by CTU numbered 33. After Eddie received Wald's location over the phone and wrote it down, Jack pulled his weapon, revealed that he was a government agent, and demanded the location. Chris and Scott saw this and opened fire, but Jack killed them. Eddie then tried to run over Jack, but he was shot in the face through the windshield.

  • The license plate that was on Eddie's car was 4IHX128. This could be seen as Jack Bauer drove it away towards 221 Canyon View Road.
