The Edgemont Nuclear Power Plant was to be targeted by Abu Fayed and Dmitri Gredenko with the fourth suitcase nuke. If the Edgemont facility had been successfully destroyed, up to half the population of California could be killed. Gredenko tried to get the access codes from brothers Mark and Brady Hauser, but was captured. Later, Jack Bauer captured the suitcase nukes, and the threat to the power plant was avoided.
