Dr. Edwards treated Drew when he sustained a head injury. He went to Drew's mother, Eileen Phelps, who was with Amira Dudayev and told them about Drew's condition. Dr. Edwards said to Eileen that Drew has been stabilized and his prognosis seemed to be very good. He took Eileen to Drew's hospital room to see him.
