Elena Drazen was wife to Victor Drazen and mother to Andre, Alexis and Martina Drazen. She was born in Dakovica, Kosovo.
Two years before Day 1, Elena and Martina were killed in Kosovo by an explosion caused by Jack Bauer in Operation Nightfall, which was ordered by Senator David Palmer to take out Victor Drazen. The mission failed because it was only Victor's double that was killed. The only reason that Elena was killed was because she came home from holiday one day early with her ill daughter Martina.

- Elena's name is found on a computer screenshot of Andre Drazen's dossier at CTU (Image:AndreDrazenDossier.jpg). In an apparent continuity error, Findings at CTU refers to this character as "Vesna Drazen".
