Eltony Williams was born in Chicago, Illinois. He started his acting career in 2004, appearing in the short film World of Weird. After that, Williams has appeared in numerous TV shows like Criminal Minds (with Robert Pine), ER (with Leland Orser), The Unit (with Dennis Haysbert, Max Martini, and Michael Irby), House, Castle (with Stana Katic and Carlo Rota), CSI: Miami, and True Detective (with James Frain).
From 2014 to 2017, Williams had a recurring role in the soap opera If Loving You Is Wrong. He appeared in a total of 49 episodes as Dr. Randal Holmes. In 2019, he had a recurring role in the third season of Kiefer Sutherland's show Designated Survivor.
