Oou

Since 2001, 24 has aired a total of 204 episodes, counting both the original eight seasons (20012010) and the limited series 24: Live Another Day (2014). In addition, the TV movie 24: Redemption, originally aired in November 2008, was produced as a prequel to the seventh season. Each episode originally aired on the Fox network in the United States.

For many later seasons, short "mini-episode" features were produced to act as either prologues or epilogues to the story, which were featured on their respective home video sets.

Episode titlesEdit

Because of the real time concept, every episode of the first season was named for a particular hour of the day - for example, "12:00am-1:00am," "1:00am-2:00am," etc.

For subsequent seasons, to avoid confusion, episode titles use the modifier "Day X:" where X is the number of the corresponding season. However, official sources such as episode scripts and press releases vary in this practice, often continuing to refer to new episodes solely by their time interval. Moreover, the exact formatting of the time notation varies wildly from source to source, variously using 7:00am, 7:00 A.M., and so on.
