Ethan Rains (born February 19, 1981; age 43) played Ali during Season 8 of 24. He is the brother of Amin Nazemzadeh.
Biography and career
Ethan Rains was born as Iman Nazemzadeh in Tehran, Iran. His brother is Amin Nazemzadeh (who would later change his name to "Dominic Rains"). Ethan attended The Colony High School and graduated in 1999. He then attend Southern Methodist University where he completed a major in Theatre.
Rains began his professional acting career in the 90's, lending his voice to animated shows and films like DragonBall Z and Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files. From 2004 to 2005, he had a recurring role on the show LAX (with Frank John Hughes), as well as guest roles on The Unit (with Dennis Haysbert, Max Martini, Michael Irby, and Navid Negahban) and E-Ring (with Dennis Hopper and Benjamin Bratt).
Aside of TV, Rains has also appeared in films like Sin City (with Powers Boothe and Tommy Flanagan), Open Graves, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
