Eyal Podell (born November 11, 1975; age 48) played Ryan Burnett during Season 7 of 24.

Biography and career

Eyal Podell was born in Tel Aviv, Israel but was raised in Hong Kong. His family moved to New York when he was 8 years old. Podell attended Byram Hills High School in Armonk, and later graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.

Podell began his professional career in 1998, appearing in an episode of Players (with Frank John Hughes). After that, he has appeared in shows like Time of Your Life (with Pauley Perrette), The West Wing (with Glenn Morshower), ER (with Paul McCrane), E-Ring (with Benjamin Bratt, Dennis Hopper, and Cas Anvar), Lost (with Daniel Dae Kim, Francois Chau, and Henry Ian Cusick), Commander in Chief (with Harry Lennix and Ever Carradine), and The Event (with Ian Anthony Dale, Bill Smitrovich, Zeljko Ivanek, and Tony Todd).

Podell has also starred in films like Deep Blue Sea, The Insider (with Colm Feore), Behind Enemy Lines (with Joaquim de Almeida and Geoff Pierson), and Hard Scrambled (with Kurtwood Smith).
