Rhys Coiro

John Rhys Coiro (born March 12, 1979; age 45) played Sean Hillinger during Season 7 of 24.

Biography and career

Rhys Coiro was born in Calabria, Italy, but was raised in Princeton, New Jersey. He has Italian and Irish descent. Coiro attended Princeton High School, and then graduated with a BFA from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama.

Coiro has starred in movies such as Order of Chaos, MacGruber (with Powers Boothe and Timothy V. Murphy), High School (with Mykelti Williamson), This Last Lonely Place (with Xander Berkeley and Carly Pope), Electric Slide (with Megalyn Echikunwoke), and Straw Dogs.

Aside of films, Coiro has guest starred on shows like Dexter (with Yvonne Strahovski), Longmire (with Katee Sackhoff and Lou Diamond Phillips), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (with Tamara Tunie), Hawaii Five-0 (with Daniel Dae Kim), Numb3rs (with Navi Rawat and Jose Zuniga), Ugly Betty (with Tony Plana and Alan Dale), Hostages (with Sandrine Holt and Tate Donovan) and S.W.A.T. (with Peter Onorati and Christian Kane).

Coiro is perhaps best known for his role as Billy Walsh on the HBO series Entourage. He appeared on the show from 2004 to 2011, sharing the screen with Kevin Dillon, among other actors. He also appeared in the 2015 Entourage film.
