7th Street Metro Center was a subway station located in Downtown Los Angeles, on 7th Street. It was on both the blue and red metro lines.

Day 3

Jack and Chase at the station

Jack Bauer and Chase Edmunds were on the trail of Arthur Rabens, a courier of the Cordilla virus working for Stephen Saunders. Saunders had provided CTU with the frequency of a tracker on Rabens, and Chloe O'Brian narrowed the signal down to a train heading towards 7th Street station. She contacted the MTA to hold the train in the tunnel while Jack and Chase entered the terminal.

Once CTU agents were in place, the train was released and arrived at the platform. Rabens alighted, and Chloe kept following his signal, not knowing that he had planted the tracker on an innocent man. Jack apprehended the man, but realizing that Rabens had fooled them ordered an entire lock down of the station. ("11:00am-12:00pm")

All of the passengers were then photographed, for identification by Saunders back at CTU. However, Rabens managed to break out of the lock down by stabbing two police officers, and stealing a man's car to drive away. Jack and Chase pursued him out of the exit at 7th & Figueroa, before getting in their own vehicle and giving chase. ("12:00pm-1:00pm")

Day 6

The platform for the red line train towards Union Station

Following a lead from Omar, Jack and Hamri Al-Assad noticed two men entering the 7th Street station. Assad recognized one of the men as the bomber, and the other as the handler, and knew they were both working for Abu Fayed and planned to bomb a subway train. Jack observed one of the men get on the red line train towards Union Station, while the handler stayed on the platform until the train departed. While Assad followed the handler as he left the station and drove away, Jack boarded the train to confront the bomber. ("7:00am-8:00am")
