The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) was a department of the United Kingdom government responsible for protecting and promoting British interests abroad. The department's main headquarters were located on King Charles Street, London.
During Day 9, PresidentJames Heller attended a noon welcome reception with Prime MinisterDavies at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office headquarters. Audrey Boudreau, the First Daughter, had helped fill out the guest list with notable figures. While Heller was speaking to Davies, Mark Boudreau called the President away to report that two British soldiers in Afghanistan had just been killed when an American drone pilot fired upon their convoy. Concerned about the effect the incident would have on the Diego Garcia lease, Heller turned to break the news to Davies himself, but saw with dismay that he had also just learned from his own advisors.
