Chuck was heard asking PresidentDavid Palmer a series of questions during a stage rehearsal to prepare him for the upcoming presidential debates with SenatorJohn Keeler. Chuck asked a question concerning the President's recovery from an assassination attemptthree years prior. Palmer's brother and Chief of StaffWayne coached Palmer to answer that question less defensively. Chuck's rehearsal was interrupted once again when Palmer's personal physician, Anne Packard, arrived. The rehearsal was restarted after Wayne received the initial report concerning the Cordilla virus crisis and reported it to David.
