Biography and career[]
Misty Carlisle was born in Memphis, Tennessee. She attended the University of Memphis, where she was a member of the pom-pom squad.
In 2001, Carlisle appeared on Freaky Links with Karim Prince, Tamlyn Tomita, and Taylor Nichols. After her role on 24, she started appearing in various roles in the soap opera Days of Our Lives.
Carlisle has also worked as a production assistant in various films like The Fountain and The Astronaut Farmer. In 2014, she produced her first short film titled Futurity. Aside of producing, Carlisle served as writer, director, and editor.

Carlisle played a nurse during one episode of Season 2 of 24. Although her character was addressed as "Clara", her name tag reads "Karen Baker". She was one of the nurses who attended the injured Jonathan Wallace after he was shot. Carlisle received a co-star credit for her appearance.
