On Day 2, Allan was present at Northwest Regional Operations Complex. At approximately 8:50 am, he was having a conversation with NSA deputy director Eric Rayburn and General McCollum, but was dismissed when President David Palmer confronted Rayburn regarding the meeting he set up with the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Later that day, around 1:22 am, he was present at the conference room with Palmer, Lynne Kresge, Mike Novick, General McCollum and other officials. He watched the interview of the racist and shook his head when the racist expressed his radical comments. ("Day 2: 1:00am-2:00am")

- "Allan" is visible on his name tag during "Day 6: 7:00pm-8:00pm." During his appearance in Season 4, he is seen wearing the name tag "Bloomer". Also during his appearance in Season 7, he is seen wearing the name tag of another general, Gratz, in an apparent continuity error.
- Allan is one of the few survivors on the attack of Air Force One by Mitch Anderson.
