Shekhar was an SFG agent assigned to protect Aditya Singhania during Day 1.
He was stationed at the security checkpoint of the Steel Corporation of India as Singhania was scheduled to address the Labour Union of Mumbai there. Shortly after 7am, Shekhar reported to his superior that Aditya had just left his hotel and would arrive in 15 minutes. His superior reminded him that Pradhan insisted they kept security very strict. He cleared Gajavathanan through security, who was posing as the photographer Max Ferraro.
When Jai Singh Rathod arrived, Shekhar verified his identification and asked to search his briefcase. Jai was hesitant, but as Shekhar searched it they were interrupted by Farukhi, who told Shekhar the search was not necessary and ushered Jai through security. ("7:00am-8:00am")
