Nurse Mitchell observed with surprise the presence of heavily armed servicemen in her hospital. She was then approached by President Allison Taylor, who asked Mitchell that she'd like to see her husband, Henry Taylor, who was being treated there for a gunshot wound. Mitchell replied she didn't know if that is possible. Taylor then asked for Henry's surgeon Lee Schulman, who approached.
