Agent Rafael Gutierrez was an intelligence agent from Mexico that was sent by Tony Almeida to intercept Chase Edmunds during Day 3. He was sent so that Chase wouldn't interfere with Jack Bauer's sting operation with the Salazars. He was shot and killed by the Salazars' men shortly after he found Chase.
