While on the way to Norton Airfield, the three Second Wave terrorists Marko Khatami, Basheer and Omar drove down Sarah Street. However one of their tires blew out, and they were forced to pull into a side street in order to change it. While struggling with the car jack, a man named Rick pulled up to help them. He changed their tire, and offered to lead them to a tire store Ventura Boulevard. They refused, and tried to pay him, but he would not accept any money. Before they left, Marko noticed some young children playing basketball nearby, which started to cause his change of heart about their operation. ("3:00pm-4:00pm")
