Jamison Jones (born February 15, 1969; age 55) portrayed Deputy Nirman during Season 2, and Secret Service Agent Dan during Season 6 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Jamison Jones was born in Rochester, Michigan, but spent several years living abroad. He attended Frankfurt International School in Germany before returning to Michigan for his high school years. During that time, Jones developed an interest in acting. He graduated from Rochester Adams High School in 1987. Jones then spent 2 years in Western Michigan University on a scholarship, and then moved to Los Angeles to study Theatre at UCLA. He completed his degree in California State University, Fullerton. Jones also studied with the Advanced Training Program at the American Conservatory Theater.

Jones started his acting career in theatre, acting in the plays Purple Hearts and Tennessee in the Summer at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland. He has also appeared in Angels in America, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Othello, and Macbeth. He started working on TV and films in 1994, and has appeared in TV shows like JAG, Alias (with Alla Korot), NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), Burn Notice, and True Detective.

Since 2009, Jones has started his own production company called Jones Films. In 2017, he wrote, produced, and directed the TV film Agoura Hills. Jones also heads an acting studio in Los Angeles.
