Stan Miller was a contractor who lived in Granada Hills, in the same neighborhood as Ahmed Amar.
Day 6[]
Ahmed shoots Stan
At the beginning of Day 6, Ahmed Amar's father, Yusuf, was arrested by the FBI as a suspected terrorist. Stan and another neighbor went to Ahmed's home to confront him. When Ahmed would not let them in, Stan kicked in the door. The two men confronted Ahmed and told him to leave their neighborhood. Ahmed's neighbor, Ray Wallace, appeared, and drove Stan and the other neighbor from Ahmed's home.
Later that morning, when Ahmed returned to his home after spending time with the Wallaces, Stan again confronted Ahmed. The two men got into a fight, and Ahmed was knocked into a glass coffee table, where a shard of glass was embedded into his leg. Ahmed retrieved a gun from his bookbag and shot Stan once in the knee and then once in the chest, killing him.
